|  In 1988, I bought a new Chevrolet Corsica from Saskatoon Motor Products. This was a start to a long relationship with the store. Over the years I continued to buy new vehicles and counted on SMP for service.
In 1990 I became a radio advertising representative for Rawlco Radio with stations in Prince Albert, North Battleford and Meadow Lake. SMP purchased advertising radio ads from me. I recommended that the store consider using singing jingles which I would produce.
Several campaigns followed: “Silverado City”, “Bring it on home”, “Catch a Cavalier”, “Cruising with my Cavalier”, “Clear em Out”, “You Just Have to Drive One” and together with Gil Campbell produced "Look at SMP today!". The “You Just Have to Drive One” won a Canadian award for creative and sales effectiveness. It is interesting to note that I was the singer for “Silverado City”!
 On May 1, 2002, I left the radio advertising business after twelve years and joined SMP as the New Car Sales Manager. Carl Bunnin (General Sales Manager) thought I had the right skills to be successful in the industry.
Three years later I continue to enjoy my new career. Every day is different and being in retail business you can never be sure who will walk in your front door. I take great pride in assisting customers at SMP and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
