Vintage Guitar & Amplifier Collection

For sometime now I have enjoyed collecting, buying and selling vintage  guitars and amplifiers.

My first electric guitar was a 1960’s Harmony  Meteor. This guitar was sold to my brother Terry, when I purchased a  used 1970’s Fender Stratocaster from Frank Almers Music in Prince Albert  in the mid 70s.

Later I traded the Strat for a Les Paul Custom which turned out to be  way to heavy for me. I later sold the Les Paul to a friend’s brother  just before I traveled with UP WITH PEOPLE.

In 1980 I bought a Gibson ES-347 from Arcade Music which I still have  today.

A few years ago I met a great guy, Doug Scarrow who is an expert on  vintage guitars and speaker repair. He has shared his guitar passion with me and has  guided me when buying and selling vintage gear.

I love vintage guitars. The same tone, feel and vibe cannot be captured  in a new  instrument. A guitar is a musician’s tool – and no two are identical.

I also collect Crosley dashboard radios from 1953-1954.

I’m always on the hunt for vintage guitars, amplifiers, microphones and 1950’s plastic radios.

If you have something for sale or know someone that does please let me know – it may be the perfect thing for my next  song.

“As I sneak towards 50 years of age, I wonder if some think I am vintage?"
